Community Outreach
Our mission is to spread goodwill and respect in our community.
We accomplish this by committing ourselves to the following:
- We march every year with our fellow law enforcement organizations in the African-American Day Parade in Harlem, NY and in the West Indian-American Day Parade in Brooklyn, NY., during the month of September.
- One Sunday, every spring, we visit one of our local churches for the Judicial Friends Annual Law Sermon. Our uniformed officers, court clerks, attorneys and judges meet with our community up close and personal for spiritual uplift.
- Every summer we set up our booth on Harlem Day on 135th Street. This is our opportunity to inform our community of the many career opportunities in the N.Y.S. Unified Court System.
