Community Outreach

Our mission is to spread goodwill and respect in our community.  We accomplish this by committing ourselves to the following:

We march every year with our fellow law enforcement organizations in the African-American Day Parade in Harlem, NY., and in the West Indian-American Day Parade in Brooklyn, NY., during the month of September.

Members of the Guardians Association of the NYS Courts marching in the 2005 African-American Day Parade.

One Sunday, every spring, we visit one of our local churches for the Judicial Friends Annual Law Sermon.  Our uniformed officers, court clerks, attorneys, and judges meet with our community up close and personal for spiritual upliftment.

Every summer we set up our booth on Harlem Day on 135th Street.  This is our opportunity to inform our community of the many career opportunities in the N.Y.S. Unified Court System.
